Social Anxiety Disorder
Social anxiety, it comes in many forms, but some are worse than others. Today I am going to inform you about social anxiety disorder and its symptoms, dangers, and treatments. First I will tell you about the symptoms of social anxiety, second I will go over the dangers of the symptoms of SAD, and third I will tell you about the treatments of these dangers. First I will go over the symptoms of social anxiety disorder, or also known as social phobia. Social anxiety differs from shyness in many ways, the biggest difference are the panic attacks, when a person with SAD has a panic attack they are over whelmed and can?t control their emotions (Jaret). The children are the targets. At a young age, children are known to be shy it?s a common factor. But as they grow the shyness changes and it becomes less cute and more serious. Doctors will tell you they will grow out of it, and most do grow out of it. But the few who grow and suffer from a more serious type of shyness will be welcomed by social anxiety disorder (Jaret). Now that you know the symptoms of Social Anxiety Disorder, I will now go over the dangers of having these symptoms of SAD. The dangers of social anxiety come in categories, the most talked about is the struggle of communication. Making new friends is a hard thing to do even when you don?t suffer from social anxiety, but for someone who does have it they feel like they need to be accepted or liked to a percent before proceeding on in trying to make a friend. If they sense discomfort they will not proceed and will not allow anyone close enough to have a friendship.
