The increasing globalization has led to inevitable interactions among individuals from different beliefs, cultures and backgrounds. This means that people cannot work and live in confined workplaces, which which represents the greater part of the global economy. In point of fact, competition originates from virtually every part of the world. It is in this respect that most organizations, both the profit and nonprofit, have embraced diversity in order to enhance their creativity and embrace change (Meeussen, Otten and Phalet 636). Capitalizing and maximizing on the workplace diversity is, therefore, an essential aspect of modern management. Amongst such important aspects has been the ability of the organizational management to effectively enhance cooperation among the employees from different social, economic and cultural backgrounds. The study’s problem statement, therefore, includes the investigation of different variables that affect the diversity management within the place of work.
b) Research questions.
This study’s research questions are:
1. What are the benefits of embracing workforce diversity management at the place of work?
2. What are the possible challenges faced by the management in their quest to implement diversity management at the workplace?
3. What are the necessary tools to use for successful management of workplace diversity in the organization?
The scope of the study.
The research study will revolve around its need to establish how the different management skills enhance the needed cooperation with the company. Among the important secondary data sources are the newspapers, journals, books, and publications on human resource management, intercultural interactions at places of work, and the teamwork and cooperation enhancement at the place of work (Oppenheim 56). The secondary sources are expected to provide explanations of the theoretical concepts of human resource management as well as a review on the selected independent variables that impact on the interpersonal relations among employees in the organization. On the other hand, the collection of human data will involve interviewing of the organization managers and employees in one of the organizations. The stratified and random sampling technique will be applied, (Oppenheim 59) and 40 respondents will be used. The study’s research instrument will be the questionnare, and it will be developed with questions that address the problem statement together with the research objectives
