Social Media helps Black People

The issue of racial injustice is very bad in American society. People were not held accountable for what they did to black people and got away with most things they did. But because of the internet the playing has been even. Now people like the police and racist are being held accountable and getting put away. Also helps the blacks spread their stories and get their voices heard all around the world. Black people shouldn't be going around destroying property to protest but should go to the internet.

It is getting way too dangerous for black to protest in the streets because something for some reason always goes wrong. The police get angry and do the most and it gives blacks a type of view like they are dangerous. Like in the article Protest over killings of black people erode racism; the author says, “ Those stereotypes and that fear lead some people, and some police, to view black protestors as scary, violent criminals. Most protests that are by black people are not even dangerous at all and that said by many. It's only dangerous when the cops show up and do too much and rile everybody up. But we wouldn't have to worry about any of this if we would just take this to social media. Where it is a whole lot safer and can get spread out to a whole lotta people. Some people like the police would beg to differ and say there is no need. In fact many police officers think blacks should not even protest, “police killings of black men and the resulting protests has made their jobs harder.” To some it may be true and people may think the protests are black's fault. However many people fail to account that America needs change to make this place better for every race. For example according, to people the officers need to be held accountable, “69 percent of black officers said the protest against policing tactics reflected some genuine desire to hold the police accountable.” With this information it shows that protests are not bad and blacks are just getting a bad rep for no reason.
