First, the movement is important because it shows why we as African Americans are angry because of the following events Alton Sterling, Keith Lamont Scott, Terence Crutcher, and Sandra Bland The Alton Sterling case was about a man getting killed in front of a store for a homeless man reporting he had a gun and the police came told him to get on ground. The police were on his chest restraining him from moving and shot him. Keith Scott case was a man getting shot for having a book that was mistaken for a gun and the officer told him to get out the car when he backed away he was shot. Terence Crutcher case was an unarmed black man was shot on the road with his hands in the air. Police officers follow closely behind him as he approaches his vehicle
