The attack on No Gun Ri was one of the effects of the Korean War. As the American soldiers had taken the lives of the inhabitants and refugees of those who tried to flee the war zoned territory. With terror they looked to their government to receive compensation. Only for the government of both South Korea and the United States to deny the events, while North Korea made sure their people never forgot. Due to the tensions between North and South Korea were increased as America came to the aid of South Korea. Causing the Government to neglect the event.
