D-Day one of the most important marks in history, When just expecting it was getting better when it got worse. D-day also known as allied forces invaded Normandy, carefully planned out how they are going to attack Normandy. D day through a Germans point of view was way different for an Americans, because of what an American sees compared to a German. What is so important about D-day is it is the beginning of the end of the war, and the allied forces got revenge on Normandy, also many countries surrender after the battle of Normandy France The allied troops planned to attack Normandy. The allied forces were against the axis power. There was more than 155,000 troops that crossed the English Channel, and British bombers dropped 3000 tons on Normandy.Under the command of General Eisenhower. The invasion would occupy France.
