Breakfast is the first opportunity the body has to refuel its glucose (blood sugar) levels after the fast of eight to twelve hours without a meal or snack.

When you wake up in the morning your body is in need of nourishment. Eating a nutritional breakfast is like putting premium fuel in your car when the fuel tank is running on empty.

It is vital that you eat a solid breakfast at the start of your day if you want to be focused and alert throughout the day.
