Almost every person in society uses a vehicle of some sort to commute from one place to another. According to a report from Ward's Auto released in 2010, the global number of cars exceeded 1 billion. With that being said, the people behind the wheel of these vast automobiles vary tremendously. Although there are numerous different characteristics of drivers, they all fall into one of three groups: Typical Commuters, Slowpokes, and Speed Demons. The Typical Commuter is just an everyday driver. They may have the radio turned to their favorite station, reciting musical tunes while cruising to their destination or drinking a cup of freshly brewed coffee. These drivers generally do not cause a serious problem on the road. Some may speed about five miles per hour over the set speed limit, but it is not anything to be cautious of. They can be described as people who are having a bad morning and act as if they are mad at the whole world. It is understood that their anger is a result of procrastination in the morning as they prepare for their daily responsibilities. Because they typically are running late, they tend to exceed the speed limit greatly and often cut in front of other drivers swerving in and out of lanes in order to get back time they wasted. Speed Demons develop road rage as they honk and holler in fury as if other drivers have caused their difficulties. If they are not able to zoom right pass someone, they get the tendency to get right on the car’s bumper so closely the driver can barely see the car’s headlights from the rear-view mirrors. If there is any sudden movement, a car accident is bound to happen. Accidents are usually acts of irresponsibility and can generally be avoided. These drivers are the reason insurance prices rise through the roof. Speed Demons not only endanger themselves but every person they come in contact
