Love will always find its way back to you, it is an inseparable blessing that will stop at nothing to find you. Tony Morrison wrote the novel “Beloved” a tremendous story about an infant that was killed by her mother because of the hardships of slavery. She comes back to her mom years later wanting love and constant attention. Beloved which is the girl that was killed when she was very young came to live with Sethe and Denver after haunting the house for some time. If you express a great deal of love towards someone they will always find their way back to you. Before Beloved came to live with Sethe she haunted the house. When people entered the house, they always got a strange feeling, Beloved always made her presence known. When Paul D came into the picture, the spirt became violent. Beloved did not like the idea of her mom loving anybody else therefore she hated Paul D and went about trying to destroy her mother’s only connecting with the outside world. When Beloved first shows up she is helpless like a baby she can barely even walk. She wanted to be Sethe so she learned how to live just like Sethe did. Sethe brutally murdered Beloved but with good intentions. She did not want Beloved to go through slavery and to get demoralized. Sethe had her breast milk drank by School Teacher’s sons and that dehumanized her because it took the only thing that was actually hers and that is what started the whole thing. The tree on Sethe’s back that was made from a whip brutally cutting in to her skin many times, this also was a reason for Sethe killing Beloved to save her from all of the misery and “hell” that she went through when she inhabited Sweet
