In discussions of Danny Thomas and his creation of St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, I believe this point in time was important because, it provided help for families to get the proper treatment and care their children fighting against illnesses need. The following points illustrate the importance of this turning point in time: Danny’s reason for starting the hospital, the research the hospital does to treat children, and how the hospital raises the money it needs.
