Around 2 years ago, I stepped into a small room in Lancaster. I saw about 20 other girls in that room, all accompanied by their parents. My mom picked up a paper and my sister and I sat down. I was shaking looking at my sheet music, trying to remember the tune.
I could feel the blood rushing to my face, I wanted to just hide myself away due to the lack of preparation I had put into my solo, especially when a bass clarinet chuckled at the fact that I messed it up. At that moment, I was determined to sit down and learn the music. During seminar the fourth week of prep, I sat in a practice room and played the rhythms repeatedly until I engrained the fingering pattern in my hands. It wasn’t easy
(I can’t remember) in fifth grade. Another accomplishment would be in band, when me and my fellow colleagues in the Wind Ensemble at James Workman Middle School performed at the SCSBOA (California School Band & Orchestration Association)
Homeroom Reflection Junior year I have grown as a student this semester by watching the mala movie. This has helped me grow as a student because it showed me how just one voice can change so much in a community. From this experience I learned how Mala was an ordinary girl but who ones spoke up for what she believed was right for her community and the people all around her. After she started to change her community on a positive way for example, have more schools so students can have an education and making sure girls were able to attend school more often. Therefore, when she spoke up for what she thought was right and changed people 's life there was some who didn 't appreciate what she was doing so decided to shot her and ended up shooting her on her forehead.
In the world today we depend on artificial things too much. The cartoon mean if you want to loose weight take SURE - FIRE weight loss diet pill twice a day on an empty stomach only for adult. The word sure - fire could tell you how it is dangerous for hour health. Think about the word FIRE. I disagree with what the cartoon is depicting because no medication does not take on an empty stomach unless it is prescribe by the doctor for some reasons.
For many years I have been known for being a very talented athlete. But what many people do not know is that I was once in the Elba Marching band. At first this was a challenge for me, but I soon got the hang of it.

Junior year was a bit challenging for me. It was not challenging because of the work, but I joined a career program. I had to keep up with both of my schools. It was during summer vacation of junior high school when I started to dance. My cousin’s wedding was in about a month and I had to think of dance steps, songs, choosing dance partners. It was not easy as it seemed like it was.

Working as much as I could with him, my voice improved drastically, but my sound had not completely formed to my goal tone. Continuously and slowly improving, I learned various techniques and exercises that formed the foundation of my voice, the air support from the diaphragm. The only obstacle that prevented me from progressing more was the natural anchor of my voice still changing, which prevented it from having a developed tone. At the end of the year for auditions, I decided to try out for Symphonic band, the top band in our school. Because I was in one of the last bands, a lot of people told me this would be very difficult to do. When the results came in I found out I had made symphonic. I was very proud of myself with how much I had improved within just a year. I even got the Academic Excellence for Concert 2 band award at the end of the 2013-2014 school year.
I spent hours practicing scales and finger patterns after Mommy Nu released me from my school work everyday. She fueled my thirst for music when she began to teach me songs to sing and not just piano. Songs that she played and sang to me before nap time or while we were walking, nuzzled their way into my repertoire. " An Apple a Day," "This is the Day," and so many others of my favorite songs to hear soon became my favorite songs to sing. For eleven years, I played the songs I grew up hearing and learning.
