Stores should not be open on thanksgiving/Black Friday. Even though It is very good for the stores to be open on Black Friday/Thanksgiving, stores should not be open on Thanksgiving because it affects lots of people by being open. People are very dangerous on Black Friday and there have been 7 deaths plus 98 injuries because of Black Friday. People are very dangerous on Black Friday. People can get arrested. For example, there was a Black Friday brawl at Kohl 's in Tustin and ended with 3 arrests. People aren 't safe on Black Friday if they are at any store, not even employees. For example, a worker/employee died at Long Island Wal-Mart after being trampled in a Black Friday stampede. Lots of people can get hurt. For example, on Thanksgiving Day bargain shoppers sent an 11 year-old to hospital in 2013. Then, a worker got trampled. Paramedics came, they got injured and the worker was killed. Other than the recession in 2008, lots of people travel during Thanksgiving. There 's already enough cause from finding your family and friends. Why would someone want to go and fight over things instead of having a big meal with their family and friends that they/you might not see that much? Thanksgiving is a day of rest, not a day of fighting and going to stores. Thanksgiving is a holiday celebrating how the Pilgrims invited the local Native Americans to a harvest feast after a particularly successful growing season. Thanksgiving should be a day of rest and giving thanks. A day to spend time with your family and friends. In conclusion we should all work together to make Thanksgiving that special day of rest and thanks, and change Black Friday to some other day before or after Thanksgiving. That way, no one would have to worry about their friends and family during this special and meaningful holiday. We could end the holiday worrying if we stop Black Friday from happening during the time of
