Story Of The Turtle Kenned

919 Words4 Pages

In the commencement, there was nothing. An illimitable void perpetuated outward in all directions, never transmuting and always vacuous. One day, a cyclopean golden egg appeared in the middle of this void. It hung ostensibly in the middle of an abyss, shining and glittering. Eventually, an astronomically immense crack split the surface of the egg and an astronomically immense turtle emerged. The turtle, Keiya (as she would later be kenned) had long flippers and a sizably voluminous, pitted and bumpy shell. Looking around and sniffing, the turtle set off in one direction heading into the expense of the void. For eons, the turtle roamed into nothingness, always moving and always probing for the impeccable place to be a domicile. Determinately, …show more content…

As it tilted, it cracked on the turtle’s shell; the impact caused the egg to rupture, scattering all manner of animals and plants across the bulk of the shell. These godly animals were many and each was different, having a male and a female of each type. These animals visually perceived the great turtle and kenned what she had done for them. They withal kenned that they would require a place to live and that the turtle could avail them one last time. The animals collaborated and utilized the turtle’s body to engender the macrocosm around them. Grinding the turtle’s claws, they scattered the pieces to engender minute and distant stars glinting across the tenebrosity. The turtle’s ocular perceivers were split and became glowing orbs of distant planets. The turtle’s heart, burning with last vestiges of life, became the fiery sun to keep them warm. The massive shell, with mountains and valleys and plains homogeneous, became the incipient world they would inhabit. Finding themselves hungry after the spectacular feat, they commenced probing for pabulum. Some relished the flora that had scattered across the surface, while others would prey on the more minute animals. These beings, having great puissance, could not die. Those eaten by other beings were reborn in a flash of silvery light, having an incipient body. This ascertained that none would starve, and none would perish to satiate the hunger. The animals lived on, conversing with …show more content…

Curious, they collaborated to retrieve the egg, and take it to safety. After inclining the egg for a time, it commenced shaking. All the animals amassed to optically discern what incipient creature had come. When the shell broke, a peculiar creature crawled from the pieces. It stood on two legs, and only had fur on top of its head. It had no claws and only minuscule teeth. Discombobulated, the animals optically canvassed this eccentric endangerment. They were astounded when it commenced verbalizing with them, exhibiting great astuteness and inspiration. The animals and this outlandish two-legger lived together for a time, but the incipient creature grew restless and unhappy. The animals realized that this creature was solitary, without its pair to keep it company. They all accumulated together one day, while the two-legger was slumbering, and decided to visually perceive if they could engender another like it. Collaborating, the animals poured all they had into the endangerment of a companion for the eccentric creature that they had all grown fond of. A second two-legger was engendered, different from the first, but ostensibly the other a moiety of the dyad that had been missing. The animals, having given their own great perspicacity and ingeniousness to the project, lost a substantial amount of their puissance as well. When the first
