He’s God’s Child “If somebody came to me with a lethal injection, I’d take it,” Willie Bosket stated in an interview with The New York Times. “I’d rather be dead.” The New York native, Willie Bosket, plead guilty to “three separate felonies-two counts of murder and one of attempted murder” as stated in, murderpedia.org. Willie Bosket was just 14 years old when he first got arrested in 1979. Willie Bosket was known as being a “monster” and Bosket himself even admitted to being a “monster” as well. He blames the system for creating the “monster” he is now known as today. I agree with Bosket with this statement but sadly there are other factors that

These emotions create pressure for corrective action, and crime is one possible response. Crime may be used to reduce or escape from strain, seek revenge against the source of strain or related targets, or alleviate negative emotions.” Life problems can cause stress and this is the cause of you commiting a crime. This is one of the big reasons why I believe made Willie Bosket commit crime as a young child. Bosket grew up poor in Harlem, New York City and experienced a great deal of stress with his family and him just trying to figure out how to survive on his own. He had no father figure in his life to raise him and teach him how difficult it was for a young black male in America. His father, Willie Bosket Sr, was also in prison for a murder he commited. His mom was also in prison over a stabbing, after Mrs.Bosket was relased she had a serious drug problem and died of a overdose. All of this would’ve caused Bosket Jr so much stress over his life, especially at a young age where he didn’t have a father figure or mother figure to raise him and teach him about life.
