I feel the song that relates the most today my eighth grade experience is Stressed Out by Twenty One Pilots. The song Stressed Out is about how the artists wish that they ‘could turn back time, to the good old days’, talking about how simple life was when they were younger and taking everything for granted. They talk about how everything was easier and wished that when they were kids, they didn’t think about the future so much, and just lived in the moment, and enjoyed while it lasted.

One line from the song Stressed Out is ‘Wake up you need the money’. This line talks about how very soon we need will need to make money and pay for things by ourselves, instead of hiding behind our parents letting them pay for everything. In this line, the artist’s family is telling him to wake up, and be aware that he isn’t just a little kid anymore, and he has to get a stable job to make money to pay for everything. This is relatable to my life, because around in two years, our parents won’t pay for our things, so we will need a job so we can pay for things, like gas. And in four years we will need to pay a crazy large amount of money to go to college. So I think around now is the time that we should start saving money to go to college so we can be happy when we are older. …show more content…
