Bell states, “The Bible tells a story. A story that isn’t over. A story that is still being told. A story that we have a part to play in” (Bell, 2005). This is similar to the biblical narrative of Adam and Eve which reflects what it is to be human then and what it is to be human presently. Every day people struggle with a part of themselves and their personal struggles become their own specific learning process, which is necessary so they become the kind of people that God already knows them to be.
