The Struggles of Immigrants
Did you know there are 244 million immigrants in the world? If they had a country of their own, it would be the fifth largest country in the world. Immigration is a complex process that has many challenges to the families migrating. The United States is known as the ‘melting pot’ of the world. Everywhere a person looks they will find some immigrants due to the fact that the Unites States is reliant on immigration since the beginning of time. In the 1500s, the Spanish and French migrated to America to establish what would be known today as the Unites States of America. However, the United States is not the only country that welcomes immigrants, countries such as Canada, Austria and the United Kingdom greet immigrants with open arms. Nevertheless, Immigrants face many challenges when moving to a new country, some of these challenges are learning a new language, adjusting to the culture and finding jobs.

Numerous immigrants that migrant to non-muslim countries normally try to avoid places that demonstrates any unclothed images such as movie theaters, malls, ect. However, it is exceedingly difficult to avoid the majority of these places since it is part of their everyday life. Additionally, cultural differences can happen at practically location, for example, in Utah, a youth group planned a hike for the local kids and invited some immigrants and refugees to join to assist them to gain some relationships with the local youth. However, the trip did not proceed as planned, countless of the refugees were reminded of the time they were enforced to flee their homes. “Now, despite the group’s kindest intentions, these kids were traumatized. This just goes to show how easy it is for these kinds of cultural misunderstandings to take place”
