Good Morning EDL 605:

I hope this email finds you well. It was nice seeing you all Saturday. I deeply appreciated your hard work and contributions to our discussion. I am impressed with your progress on the self-study and the creative design of your courses in Atlas.

We began class with a review of your practice CAT. As a class, your performance on the practice bodes well; with a bit more prep, I am confident you will all develop the skills necessary for success on the School Improvement Modules this June. I will give you a second practice CAT on April 30th at the start of our final class. This will be an optional assignment. 3. Read Beyond the Blueprint. If you are teaching a grade 3-12 course, align your fully developed unit to the literacy standards in Beyond the Blueprint. Use the literacy strategies in Beyond the Blueprint, and other before, during, and after reading strategies as you complete the “Literacy Strategies” section in Atlas.
4. Read the articles on motivation posted in Blackboard. Use the articles and our discussion about motivation to design activities for your units that capitalize on what the research tells us about student motivation and engagement through the creation of learning opportunities that capitalize on autonomy, mastery, and purpose.
5. Continue working on the one unit you are fully
