There are various reasons relating substance abuse to suicidal behavior. One of them is that abuse of a substance increases stress-related disorders, thereby increasing the risk of committing suicide. Substance abuse related problems when combined with symptoms of depression might reach a level where suicide is the only solution. The findings of the past researches that abuse of substance speeds up psychological symptoms were proven true through the interview. The other relationship between the abuse of substance and suicidal cases is that alcoholic substances increases aggression among individuals (Runeson et al. 2010). It is important for parents to be understanding of their children and use the positive methods to correct their children. To be able to do this, parents should have active listening techniques and they must show understanding to their teenage children all the time. In addition, schools should incorporate programs encouraging good relationships among peers, as it is important in the prevention of suicidal attempts (Mann & Currier, 2010). Families and societies should also learn to accept teenagers, despite the various imperfections they may be having. The focus of the society should be to encourage the teenagers
