Success differs within the individual and comes in many different forms. Success can be defined throughout many different aspects whether that be money, family, education, or a career. There are also myths that comes along with measuring success. It all begins within the mindset of a person and what they value as being successful. Some place family as their first priority, therefore, this is the most important area of success in their life. For instance, when I was growing up family structure was the most crucial job my parents worked. Later I realized when parents raise polite, respectable, and strong willed children as a parent they’re fulfilling their life’s work. Their aim as a parent was to raise up “successful children.” How one views success is formed from the structured they originated from. For those seeking a profile career as being successful, the next additional step would be landing an accredited job. Success in a job can be measured through how it enhances one’s life and what the job alone does to a person. How it makes them feel and what it does for other people. “You can find joy and success in all types of jobs. Either in the job itself or in what it gives you and your family. For an unemployed person, just finding a job can be a huge success. No one needs to judge what kind of job it is if it gives them the dignity of a paycheck.” (Ann, 2015.)
