In my opinion, I believe that Kelly story was more persuasive, because he used examples on how technology is already taking over in today’s society. He based his story, off how things are today and will be in a couple of years with technology. Kelly used these examples to back up his point of view on technology. Kelly was trying to warn his audience about technology. Reading Kelly story at the beginning, it had me worried a little. However, towards the end of his story, I felt better because he then explained why people should not be worried. He gave examples on why people should not worry on why technology will be taking over. I believe, Kelly started his story off in a negative way, about how the machines will be taking people jobs, was so he can get his audience attention. His main point was to inform the readers how technology, will be taking over within the next few years but not to worry because the machines cannot do as much as humans can. Carr story was to influence the audience, on why people should not use the internet as much as people do. Carr believe the internet changes the way we think.
