The novel written by the venerable Mary Higgins Clark is a suspense novel about the abduction of a set of twin girls named Kelly and Kathy Frawley, the story behind the abduction, and them and their parents journey throughout it. It is important to note that after Cronus’s children were eaten, they did not die immediately, for they were gods and died very slowly, hence why they are considered kidnapped. Two Little Girls in Blue echoes the beginning of the story by having the same premise of children being kidnapped out of greed. In Clark’s novel, the twin girls are stolen by four criminals Angie, Clint, Lucas, and the Pied Piper, and the reason for the twins’ abduction is so that the their greedy abductees can make a profit from their ransom fee.
