The boss was mad at George and Lennie for coming late. So when Geroge and Lennie go to the room, Lennie finds bug spray and he thinks that his room has bugs. We find out that Lennie's last name is Smalls and George's last name is Militon. The atmosphere in the ranch and bunkhouse is kinda tense in my opinion.
On the ranch there is Curley’s wife and her flirting comes with consequences when she flirts with the biggest and dumbest guy on the ranch, Lennie. In the story “Of Mice and Men” is about two men, George and Lennie,who travel together from ranch to ranch in hope of work. They have a dream to own their own ranch after working enough and building up a profit. Everything changes a few weeks into working on the ranch.
George from George Steinbeck’s “Of Mice and Men” made the right decision of killing Lennie in the story, while other might disagree. George shot Lennie in the back of the head to save him from the suffering and humiliation from a mad and revengeful Curley. George did this not out of hate, but out of the love of their friendship. “George raised the gun and his hand shook, and he dropped his hand to the ground again” (Steinbeck). George is struggling to come to terms that he is going to shoot his best friend.

They are very skillful especially Lennie he is very strong. In the ranches they found their head Slim he is very kind and understands the relationship between George and Lennie. He was the one who let Lennie borrow a little pup to pet. One day Slim was found with Curely’s wife alone in the barn.
The most important relationship in George's life is with Lennie. Slim and George were talking about how Lennie and he were doing. "We were both born in Auburn, which is the city they were born and raised in," she exclaimed. I had met his aunt, Clara. She adopted him as a newborn and brought him up.
In Chapter 2 for Of Mice and Men George and Lennie finally arrive in the Bunkhouse. When the old swamper named Candy came in to help out George and Lennie, he was telling them about how the boss was. Later on the boss came in and was interrogating George and Lennie because George was talking for Lennie and he was getting suspicious, thinking they were trying to pull something over him. After the boss left the Bunkhouse, Curley (the boss's son) came in and started talking to Lennie about if he is spoken to he needs to answer the person himself. Once Curley left, Candy came back and was talking to George about how Curley is good with his hands.
