Rachel is a shy and lonely girl at the start then she becomes an independent girl. She came to Boston with her evil old Uncle Eb that she has problems with.

I read, T4 by Ann Clare Lezotte, which is about her life as a Jewish, deaf girl who lived in Germany. This was the time period when Adolf Hitler ruled their country, which means they didn’t like Jewish people. In the book, she had said, “when my mother was pregnant with me, she was exposed to Rubella, or German Measles, a common cause of hearing loss in infancy” (Lezotte, 3). I’ve never had hearing loss or anything like that but I did have failure to thrive and a sensory disorder when I was younger, which impacted my life a lot.

The major themes and personalities of the book are best portrayed in chapter 4 In this chapter, June’s relentless desire to get revenge for her brother’s murder is introduced through Metias’ death.
Anne Moody (Essie May Moody) began her life on September 15, 1940 in Mississippi. Her mother, Toosweet, was a black maid in white homes. Because Anne was an African American growing up in the south, she went through many racial stresses. During her childhood, racial tensions were rising, Emmett Till was murdered, and as Anne grew older, the NAACP became more appealing because she wanted to help herself and other fellow African Americans.

The other June does not like the fact that they have the same name. In the beginning, June was happy, she didn 't have to be worried about many things. June also had a great relationship, and was honest with, her mom. Soon, the other June comes along and ruins June’s happiness.
Betrayal and revenge can be powerful motivators in a story. Legend by Marie Lu follows June Iparis and Daniel Wing, also known as Day, living in the Republic. The Republic forces children to take a test called a Trial when they reach a certain age, so while June scored perfectly, Day scored below average, forcing him to run away from his family to live as a criminal on the streets. When June’s brother is killed, everyone suspects Day as the culprit. The Republic sends June undercover to find and arrest Day for his crimes.
Legend The book Legend by Marie Lu was about a girl and a boy named June and Day. June works for a military and Day lives in a poor sector and is trying to get a cure for a plague that his brother has. In the beginning day tries to raid a local hospital that he thinks has a plague cure.
Literary Analysis Suspense. It's what makes us sit on the edge of our seats at movies, or has us biting our nails as we read. It’s the backbone behind any classic horror film where the babysitter keeps getting unknown phone calls about checking the children and she asks the police to trace the call only to get a call back saying it's coming from upstairs.
