In the recent viewing of “Lost in Laconia”, there was a remarked change in the treatment of patients with more than just a duty to keep them alive. The change was accounted to a newly appointed superintendent, Richard Hungerford in 1952. A position previously held by clinically detached doctors, this ‘lowly’ teacher became the harbinger of involvement; encouraging parents of residents to visit, document and organize for the reform of the facility. “Help Wanted” advertisements sponsored by the newly formed well-meaning New Hampshire Council for Retarded Children, were shown to various charities and organizations, showing their current state and desperation from lack. On the part of the council it seemed innocuous, showing why they needed the

I liked the novel Legend by Marie Lu because it takes place in a futuristic setting where the united states was gone and it's been divided into two different parties colonists and the republic the colonists are trying to bring the nation back together. No one knows that there once was a United States of America, all evedice that there ever once was destroyed. This goes far back not even parents,or grand parents know about the untied states. I like how the story talks throught two character point of views, and it can be compared to a romo and Juliet story. At first they were both differet

To be fully in the moment. Because that’s all life is, really, a string of moments that you knot together and carry with you” (Mass, 272). Daniel Fink still made his life special even though he might not have paid attention to everything. There're so many moments in your life that can be good or bad, sad or happy, but everyone’s string of moments are different. The special thing about daniel’s string of moments is a lot of them are for other people and out of kindness.
The concept of living life to the fullest and making the most out of every day is cognizant throughout different cultures and society. Robert Herrick wrote “To the Virgins, to make much of Time” in order to encourage young men to make the most out of their youth while they still can. This is mirrored in “The Picture of Dorian Gray” by Oscar Wilde, by Lord Henry’s conversation with Dorian Gray, in which he tell Gray to appreciate his youth and beauty while he still has it. The idea of making the most out of one’s youth can be followed throughout Herrick’s and Wilde’s pieces. Herrick’s message to the youth is to live life to the fullest while they still can.
The concept of good and evil is subjective. Good and evil is just as much of an illusion as a magic trick or a lack of reflection in a mirror. In Bram Stoker’s epistolary, Dracula, Count Dracula himself stands as the natural order of humanity that isn’t influenced by what is considered good or bad and challenges established rules and practices used to control society in religion, science, and moral law, through the interaction with his victims. Through Dracula, he exposes society’s denial to accept what it truly means to be human. Dracula vs Moral Law Growing up, we’re introduced to what is right and what is wrong; what is good and evil.

Hence, a person should live day by day because any day might be their last. When a person is older, they want to look back on what they accomplished and not on what they could have accomplished. People do not want to look back to the past and regret that they did not take the time to pursue an opportunity. They want to look back on the things they did and be proud to tell about the things they achieved. One should spend their day living, at all times.
There are so many different types of legends and there are so many types of legends. But honestly how do you know which one of them are actually true and are actually legit. No one really knows but in my opinion when it's passed down from generations it gets a little mixed up and can be interpreted differently. It can be different every time. But honestly it could have started out true but ended up really fake.
An individual should live his or her life to the broadest and celebrate each time in life before their
