The title of this book is called Mississippi Trial 1955. The author of this book is Chris Crowe. The setting of this story is Greenwood , Mississippi. The time of this story is in 1955. There is more than one setting of this book the setting are Hiram’s grandparents house, the courthouse, the Tallahatchie river, and Arizona.

The main character of this book is Hiram Hillburn. Hiram is 16 years old of the whole entire story. Hiram is very nice, caring, responsible, smart, and intelligent person he have a nice personality. Hiram role of this story is a 16 years old boy that is staying in Greenwood, Mississippi with his grandparents and he have to testify during a trail but he don’t know what to do. Hiram and Naomi have a good relationship they like each other and care about each other a lot. Hiram and Emmett Till they are nice relationship they are good friends. The minor characters are Grampa, Emmett Till, Naomi, R.C. Grampa is old man that is mean and he is farmer. His relationship to Hiram is that he is his grandson and he is taking care of him while his parents are working. Emmett Till is a negro boy who live in Greenwood,

Bryant and Mr. Milam took Emmett Till and they had used Grampa truck thats why he got rid of his truck because he didn’t want keep evidence. The other thing that is interesting is when Namio came to see Hiram before he left Greenwood, Mississippi.Namio had told Hiram everything that had happened that night between R.C. and his dad and she told him that she is living with a nice family and she really love it. Finally Hiram and his dad talked and they started to understand each other more and he was happy to be back
