Author Micere Keels once said, ¨Behavior is the language of trauma. Children will show you before they tell you they are in distress¨ Cole Matthews, a troubled 15-year-old gives signs he needs help; however, his signs were not heard quickly enough. In the novel Touching Spirit Bear by Ben Mikealson, Cole Mattews, a young teenager suffering from abuse and much more, uses his only instinct taught to him and blindly beats Peter Driscoll, a wimpy freshman, for ratting him out. This all brought attention to the problems Cole faced way before Peter came into the picture and finally gave Cole the room to heal from his abusive father that he needed. The author believes that rage and anger that was influenced by role models blind us, ruin relationships,

Throughout the majority of his childhood Pelzer was severely abused by his alcoholic and mentally sick mother. This evidence is from the real world not from The Bean Trees that when we read we can just imagine it’s not in this world. The truth is that children will go through a phase of phobia. If a child is abused
In the book, Just Mercy, Bryan Stevenson covers many aspects of the legal system, including Stevenson’s quest to create fairness for convicted children. Through Stevenson’s experiences, he sees, first hand, children who are sent to adult prisons. Specifically he saw how the prisoners who were convicted as children revert to a diminishing mental state and often have a great deal of trouble readjusting if they are even remotely capable of doing so. One experience that Bryan Stevenson encountered was with a young fourteen year old named Charlie whose case illustrated the impacts of an adult world in a child’s head. Unlike Charlie, children should never be pushed into adult prisons or receive adult punishments because of their lack of clear understanding

There is an old saying, “Hear no evil, see no evil” that can be applied in the case of sexually abused people and their own families. On the one hand, victims of sexual abuse are prone to repress their traumatic memories with a view to denying what has happened to them. And on the other hand, the family usually choose to not talk about the incident. This culture of silence and denial around child abuse is clearly shown in the play Perve by Stacy Gregg. Both Gethin and Nick clearly have some secrets about their childhood that are quite painful for them.
The author Alex Flinn, mostly creates an accurate and unbiased view of the topic in the following way(s), by showing how domestic abuse has hurt many people with the cycle of abuse, types of abusers(Mario), and different views of abuse (Journal to Narrator), but fails to accurately portray different types of abuse in the following way(s) by showing how the Dolphins are a big impact on Nick’s life and why it changed the way he realized he was hurting Caitlyn verbally and physically. In many ways there are many children that had grown up with being abused either mostly verbally or physically. Lost Sparrow is a film about the pros and cons of inter-racial/out-of-state adoption, the death of two boys, and an exorbitant amount of secrets a single family can keep within their folds. This film shows us that secrets always come out and can directly affect relationships and the lives of those around you. Secrets are a big theme in this film, as it shows you what they can do to the people around you, and who people really are. Lost Sparrow illustrates how the truth comes out, and how it can be distorted over time depending on the people involved. Overall, this film made me angry and sad at how difficult these children’s lives were.

The short documentary “Child of Rage” presents an example of how experiencing abuse as a child can shape the child later in life and how some children can recover. The intrafamilial abuse that Beth experienced as a one year old affected her behavior later in her childhood when she was adopted. Beth was also able to recover from some of the effects of the child abuse she experienced once she was separated from her adoptive family and taken to a special home. Beth experienced intrafamilial abuse at the hands of her biological father after her mother passed away when she was one.

Chaucer depicts the corruption among the Clergy during the Middle Ages through the Pardoner's tale. Chaucer also depicts how the Pardoner's appearance is a reflection of him.
