After walking around, neighbors tell Mattie to look for the women delivering care baskets.
In the short story “ Halloween Party” the author, Lillian Ross, explains how kids are maturing fast, talking about their futures, and barely talking like kids. Ross explains what she is hearing from the young children and how it is not what kids usually talk about. This could mess them up for life because not only are they different just with Rex being their parent but they are different for not believing in Santa. Walls continues to tell stories of her father and to go along with Christmas Jeannette, her mom, and siblings all planned the perfect one but Rex ruined it. Analysis of the Character Nora in the “A Doll’s House” Play The play “A Doll’s House” by Henrik Ibsen, portrays many different characters with different sides to themselves. A quote by Kurt Vonnegut writes “We are what we pretend to be, so we must be careful what we pretend to be;” this shows us that everyone pretends to be someone, which means the characters in the play have a good chance of pretending to be someone else whom they are not. mInevitably, not every character can show each one of their sides, but rather, it has to be interpreted. Nora, to be specific, has a completely contradictory side to herself that we later discover in the play.
The descriptive short sentence of the setting being during “A winter day,” again emphasizes the normalcy of the situation, as well as hinting that the setting of the story takes place around Christmas time. The
"Free" and "Fair" are the most often misused word. Most people thought it is similar and somehow meant the same way.
