Then a fire at a major factory starts a new fire in Rose’s heart, making her a better version of herself. Rose evolves from being selfish to unselfish in a critical crisis.

When the roses are blooming and healthy, the characters are in good spirits. When the roses are dry and dying, the characters are often in trouble or are in a negative situation. Wicked Lovely is a well written novel that is for readers 13 and up and the age range reflects readability and not necessarily content appropriateness. Melissa Marr did a phenomenal job writing this book.
Rose as a child had a great fear of Old Mr. Chou the door guardian in her dreams. Her fears resulted in her to have terrible nightmares. In one of her nightmares, Old Mr. Chou chased her stating "See what happens when you don 't listen to your mother! " You can see the effects Old Mr. Chou nightmares have on her now as an adult. Rose is very unassertive in other words a doormat when it comes to her twisted husband.

In my imaginative writing, I wanted the audience to recognise the impacts of sleep deprivation, and the hallucinations it can cause. In addition, this story was used to shed a light on the importance of asking for assistance through a period of great mourning.
