If Hannah was an adult she would have a career of an author. It would be a reasonable inference considering how she has people engaged in her stories. According to The Devil’s Arithmetic by Jane Yolen, “She told them the plot of Little Women in ten minutes, a miracle of compression, especially since her book report had been seven typed pages. She mesmerized them with her tellings.” To elaborate on Jane Yolen’s words, this is showing that when Hannah was retelling them the story of the little women, she had them fascinated with her stories. Another piece of evidence that Yolen writes is, “Hannah’s voice rose in excitement. It’s called Yentl and stars Barbra Streisand in the movie.
