My book was called The Goddaughter Caper. It was about a girl named Gina and her cousin Nico. A man Gina knew as Wally who she has seen around buying DvD’s at the movie store was shot and killed in the room under her. Gina wants to find out who did this crime but she didn’t do it alone. She got some help from her cousin Nico, they went all over town to find this criminal who shot Wally. Gina also has a wedding to manage so it has been a difficult time for her to relax her mind. A few days later while they find a crate in front of Nico’s store. Nico quickly called Gina to solve the problem. We just need to find out who did these crimes. My first theme in the book was fear, “Gina hears a crash from the kitchen, so she drops her cup of coffee and checks to see what happened, she sees wally on the ground with a bullet wound on his chest.” This quote represents fear because when Gina heard a gunshot she was afraid of who was shot whether it was someone she knew or not. It was also because she didn’t know how the person came into her house because it was only Gina, Nico and Wally coming in to visit.
