3.1 Main symptoms of schizophrenia

Schizophrenia symptoms are separated into negative and positive symptoms. Positive symptoms are Feelings or behaviors that are usually not really present (e.g. Hearing voices). Negative symptoms are a lack of feelings or behaviors that are usually present (e.g. lack of feeling emotions)

Positive Symptoms include but are not limited to:
• Hallucinations. They might hear, see, smell, or feel things or no one else does.
• Delusions. Believing in something with less sense. These are beliefs that seem strange to most people and are easy to prove wrong.
• Confused thoughts and speech. People with schizophrenia can have a hard time organizing their thoughts.
• Different and
