The Journey From Colonists to Revolutionaries Every problem needs its solution. The fact of the matter is that in 1525, England realizes that the country has a problem. The country is dealing with a population that in time causes many different shortages that are hard to overcome. England has not done anything to further progress itself in many years and the country decides that 1525 is the time to change that fact. When England learns of new land, the country jumps at the opportunity. What at first seems like a new opportunity for the people of Europe later turns into a power struggle between the people of the new land and the monarch of the old land. Over the years, one of the most well-known strongest countries has always been England. England has certainly had its ups, but unfortunately, another part of England is its downs. England wants to add a whole new portion to itself and then completely control the new portion of the country with whatever means it takes whether those means are fair or not. By the 1700s, the people of the colonies basically figured out just how unfair England is treating them. England is creating ridiculous taxes and putting the taxes on everything the colonies buy. An act called the Navigation Act is passed and made so that the colonies can only trade with England. On top of the fact that the trade is limited to England, the items that England trades to the colonists are all products bought elsewhere with the price doubled. Every ship into the colonies has to be expected depriving the colonies of basic privacy and trust. To top off all of the unfair laws and acts England is passing, an arrest could even be made without a trial. Because of all of these reasons the colonists become revolutionaries and the war between England and the colonies
