Provide feedback to at least two classmates’ responses. I found it interesting that analogy that there are a top and bottom rails of society.

The book Rebirth overall was a great book to read about the Chicano history. It was detailed about the rough time in Los Angeles for Mexican Immigrants. It showed me certain viewpoints that I would’ve never saw such as the discrimination against U.S citizens being labeled as illegal aliens because of their looks. From what I read most Los Angeles Mexican American settlers were deported on a small compact train that was full of people from the United States to Mexico. Simply, because of their skin color or their similar looks to Mexicans.

The article then mentions a few players and/or officials who support his decisions to kneel while the national anthem plays. Furthermore, Kaepernick 's action did not physically harm another individual. It is then argued, Kaepernick has a right such as the other individuals who reside in this nation, as an American we have freedom of religion and freedom of expression. Every dime I earn working at Reynolds Community College and every grant and scholarship I receive will go towards my passion of studying human behavior and applying everything I learn to bringing every community I can reach, a giant leap forward. After receiving my associates degree in Social a Science I decided to take a year off to work towards finding what it is that I really want to pursue. I have searched for that 'something ' that will keep me intrigued and awake all hours of the night without realizing it. I have eliminated the idea of simply working to make ends meet or finding a good job to support my family and "living" outside the 40+ hours of a weekday job.
