Were the Americans Patriots? I think they were, because they came to America for their own freedom. It was wrong of Britain to fight them about it, they were their own people. I think that if Britain had supported them, they would have been on better terms the Patriots would have helped them later on if they had needed it. I think people should be able to do where they want to. The Patriots came for their own freedom of religion. They were In a different area of the world so even if they didn’t try to break away, Britain couldn’t always control everything they did and could of still did what they wanted to. The 13 colonies who came over had the right to practice and do what they wished They should have tried to get along with each other.
