Sunny Smoothies Business Structure

Sunny Smoothies is a smoothie shop specializing in making a healthy smoothie choice for all ages. Our main goal is to satisfy our customers with many different styles and flavors that will tickle your taste buds. I plan to use my 10 years of experience that I have enjoyed trying and mixing different flavors of smoothies. Sunny Smoothies will use our special secret to give exactly what the customer asks for and help create a smoothie addiction in Sioux Falls! I am looking for someone to aid as a partner in Sunny Smoothies. I chose this form of organization because I want someone to aid in collaboration and help financially in Sunny Smoothies. I am looking for a partner who has at least 2 years of experience in the smoothie-making industry or experience within a business. I want my partner to be someone who can deal with most of the financial side of our business while aiding in decision making and creativity within Sunny Smoothies.

In total my materials will cost $5,000 and my equipment will cost $6,000. Required licenses I will need are federal: Food/beverage, specialty business, money transmitter, check cashing/money, order and tax registration. For the state of South Dakota I will need these licenses: food establishment, sales tax registration, employee staffing, workers compensation and vehicle repair. On the county level I will need: a business and food establishment license. On the local level: business, food establishment, prepared food, beverage tax and sign permit.
