The iconic design of the Stars and Stripes on the American flag has been a symbol of hope to every citizen in America since its making. Every time an American citizen sees these stars and stripes, they are reminded of their safe home in the United States of America. Every time a soldier sees the flag, they are reminded of what they are fighting for. They are fighting for the freedom that every citizen in the United States takes for granted, yet they still bravely fight for that freedom. As children, we were taught that Betsy Ross was the woman to thank for the flag that we see today.
Thousands of women have screamed at the top of their lungs, clawed at the patriarchy, and tirelessly fought for their rights as citizens of the United States of America. From the beginning of mankind, women have been labeled as inferior to men not only physically, but mentally and intellectually as well. Only in 1920 did women gain the right to voice their opinions in government elections while wealthy white men received the expected right since the creation of the United States. A pioneer in women’s suffrage, Susan B. Anthony publicly spoke out against this hypocrisy in a time when women were only seen as child bearers and household keepers. Using the United State’s very own Constitution and Declaration as ammunition, Anthony wrote countless

Kourtney Kardashian had always been very patient with Scott Disick. Although she had fronted to be tough, deep down she definitely would love Disick to straighten up and finally be a good model to their three young kids, 6-year-old Mason, 3-year-old Penelope and 1-year-old Reign. Now that the self-proclaimed Lord has returned to his partying ways, Kardashian is understandably devastated about it. “A smile hides my pain, a hug masks my heartache, and a laugh covers my tears,” the 36-year-old reality star tweeted the same night that her baby daddy was out partying in Las Vegas with NFL quarterback Johnny Manziel. A smile hides my pain, a hug masks my heartache, and a laugh covers my tears.
Emily Baldridge is currently a student of mine. I have known Emily throughout her high school career, and through those years I have seen her grow in many ways, and Emily has honestly surprised me. If you would have told me that Emily Baldridge would have taken the strides she did in this school to the place she is now, I would have told you that you are a liar, but fortunately for me, I did not have to be told because I got to see it happen. The biggest change Emily has made was getting out of her shell.

I distrust those who know so well what god wants them to do, because I notice it always coincides with their own desires”. That was an inspirational quote by women’s activist Susan B. Anthony who took a strong stance against gender inequality. Gender inequality has been a constant controversial issue in today’s society.

Hello Santosh, Drinking lot of water really helps me keep my body in good condition for those late nights. I suggest listening to white noise so it does not seem too quiet. Whenever my music is a bit too distracting, I use white noise as a way to focus better without distractions. I love reading outside, however it is much harder here in Florida because the weather is a bit unpredictable compared to California. Thank you for responding to my post.

Thank you, Millicent Fawcett, for giving me the opportunity to speak on behalf of the National Union of Women 's Suffrage Societies which Millicent leads with grace and dignity. Some of you may know me and some of you may not, but I am Clementine Forest one of 3000 women suffragists who has marched here today, the largest march ever occurred, for the cause of women 's suffrage. I am here to represent and express the importance of women receiving the right to vote. Unfortunately, the London weather wasn 't on our side with the presence of heavy rain throughout our march from Hyde Park to Exter Hall, but this reinforces that nothing will stop women from protesting their right to vote. As you know we have been gathered together as one, today on February 9th, 1907, the day in which Parliament is open once again for the coming year.
