This R3 that we completed used a pencil poking device to test our touch sensitivity in different areas of our body. There are areas on our body that are more sensitive to touch than other parts of our body. Our hypothesis was the more sensitive regions such as our hands and mouth would be able to detect the number of points more accurately than less sensitive areas like our calves. After learning about the homunculus man, I felt like the outcome was going to prove the hypothesis was correct.
