Sweeten Culture Vs American Culture

Sweeten has a culture very similar of that to the United States, but it does have influence from other countries. The first element of culture arts, and literature. Traditional Sweetish music is jazz. The Sweetish do have many folktales, which are comparable to the ones in America. The folktales are told to the children to teach them life lessons and morals. The most popular movies in Sweeten are comedies.
The second element of culture is Social Organization. More than ninety-five percent of Sweeten has a nuclear family organization. Sweeten can be broken down into three main classes low, middle, upper. Those who are in the lower class have less education and lower paying jobs. The third element of culture is customs and traditions. The children in Sweeten begin school at age five and go to kindergarten, they continue schooling until they graduate high school. The schooling in Sweeten is very similar to the schooling in the United States of America. However, due to the warm weather that sweeten has swimming is a core subject. Unlike the United States Sweeten does not do daylight savings. Watching television is a common activity that Sweetish people do in their free time. One of the most popular traditions is celebrating Christmas and Fat Tuesday. Due to most of the population being Catholic, most restaurants have specials on the tuesday before Ash Wednesday. The only difference between the English that the Sweetish speak and the Americans speak is that there is no slang in their English. The Sweetish are very proper, and do not like to speak in a dialect that could make them appear anything but educated and classy.
The next element of culture is religion, ninety-five percent of Sweeten is Roman Catholic. It is the official religion of the government. However there are some other religions that are practiced in Sweeten. Almost all families attend a Catholic mass on the weekends. The children go to youth groups, the catholic faith greatly influences the culture of Sweeten. Sweeten maintains a free market economy with low taxes. Sweeten exports sugar, pineapples, coconuts and other agricultural products. Due to its tropical nature, Sweeten has a major tourist industry. Which results in a wide range of hospitality jobs for those of the lower class, with lower education.
