Airbus is one of the largest Aerospace companies in the world. SWOT analysis of Airbus can be used to analyze the company 's strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats, as followed:
Strengths Weaknesses
 Market Share: Airbus hold 57% market share in 2015, grown 50.5% from the previous year.
 Innovation: focus on innovation in technology and design.
 Eco-Efficiency: Blue 5 innovation at Airbus provides five areas of environmental focus: energy saving, water saving, less waste, CO2 reduction, and reduce VOC.
 Strong Group Company: Airbus Group is very strong with a revenue over 64 billion euro which allow Airbus to compete in the challenging market.
 Airbus has been delivering less number of aircraft compared to the orders. While its rival, Boeing has delivered higher ratio.
 Airbus has always been labelled as inefficient in operations when compared to the rivals because of its history of delayed deliveries.
 Airbus has higher production costs compared to its rival.

Opportunities Threats
 Growing demand of aircrafts over the next 20 years.
 With the growing Passenger traffic due to the rising middle class in the emerging nations, Airbus has a great opportunity to gain the market share.
