Toyota company is one of the largest automobile manufactures on the industry world. First founded by Sakichi Toyoda in 1924. It conducts its business worldwide Toyota’s vehicles. There are sold in more than 170 counties and regions. It employs approximately 320,805 people worldwide. History
Kiichiro Toyoda travels to Europe and the United States to investigate automobiles and the British company Platt Brothers gains the automatic loom patent rights in 1929. He starts research into gasoline-powered engines in 1930. Toyota started in 1933 with the company being a direction of funder’son, Kiichiro Toyoda. In 1936 Toyota 's logo is established. There are four functions are globalization, technology, innovation and diversity. Toyota production system will help their employees and try to improve the performance and working system. When they face the problem, they will try to find out the problem as fast as they can. Every employees are involved in problem solving and continuous improvement work, at the same time, every was trained to be more effective to solve the problem. Beside that, when the employees was trouble in the problem, the manager will go to help them to get the job. Because they think teamwork is very important. Toyota control system is directly related to its organizational goals, one of Toyota goals is reduce waste resource. The way to accomplish is through reduce setup times, small-lot production, employee involvement and empowerment. The company must take care in selecting control system. First, it must consider associated. The costs of the cars must be medium for consumer which can burden. It can be the point which consumers interested to buy their product. Another idea must considered by companies of the control system. They have 3 options: feed forward control, concurrent control and feedback control. Feed forward control is methods of control used before manufacturing process usually associated with inputs. The second is concurrent control, which is control system employed during actual manufacturing or transformation process. The last is the feedback control, is consist of controlling the system following production. Just-in-Time is the production strategy that Toyota uses in their Toyota Production System to reduce a work of extra products or supplies and also it reduces the chance for large workforce. This system allows the suppliers to maintain consistent supply shipments for the manufacture. The goal of production system is continuous production reducing the cost overall.
