These types of crimes are seen everywhere, where they are encouraged because of the conditions that one might be under. For example, for someone living in a neighborhood that is riddled with poverty and battered houses, and with broken families, individuals are more likely to commit crimes because of these conditions. If it is a single parent household, he/she might not be making enough to support everyone else in the house, so kids might turn to stealing food or clothes for survival because there is no other option for them to turn to.
