I was in a chess tournament about two years ago against many people in my school because I joined a chess club. Unfortunately, I didn 't get far in my last one and was hoping to be better this time. I was doing well until I saw a seventh grader paired with me in the semifinals. I was very nervous because last time I went against a seventh grader I lost and was knocked out from the tournament. But this time I was a lot better at chess than before so I had not a lot of doubts even though a lot of people thought that the grade seven was going to win.

February sixth was the day of my last middle school game. We were playing our rivals , Ledford middle school. The first time we played them we only lost by two points. I attended Henry E. Lackey High School in Indian Head MD which is in Charles County MD I attended Lackey High School my ninth and both my tenth grade years around the beginning of 2016. My last month in Lackey High School was in February, before I left Cousin Jerry and the PPW from my high school told me about Job Corps. I couldn’t stay at Lackey because of the drama going on and my cousin knew Job Corps could provide me with a high school diploma and provide direction for my life. At Lackey High School I was constantly in trouble arguing, being defiant about the rules, and not attending class.
The day before I started middle school, my older brother, Harrison, asked me what I was the most excited about. I replied, rather foolishly, that I was excited to get lost. I held a vision in my mind of Camels Hump Middle School as a huge and complicated building, Hogwarts-esque in scale, with twisting hallways and hundreds of unique rooms. I wanted to explore, get lost, and take a big step outside of my comfort zone. Harrison let me know that our middle school consisted of 4 hallways, nobody gets lost, and staying inside of comfort zones is like a professional sport in middle school.
When it comes to sports my family has many ties to Middletown High School South. In the Going as far back as the 1980’s when my Dad attended the same high school. He was a standout wrestler for the team and was given multiple scholarships to wrestle in college. My family name is everywhere within the trophy rooms and walls of Middletown South. I am the youngest of three children with two older sisters coming through high school before me.
Through the experience of working as youth leader for freshman connection I have grown as a better leader. To help incoming freshman was incredible experience for me. I joined freshman connection to serve school and defiantly to get knowledge and team building skills out of it, so that it can help me make my college experience better. I think I have achieved all the goals that I wanted to through working as youth leader. Additionally, not only that but also to work on community service project on bullying has really allowed me to serve as teacher helper.

I check my watch as I race to catch my first ever Austin Metro bus home. My metro bus ride to school in the morning proved disastrous. Taking the southbound rather than the northbound bus had left me confused while waiting for the return bus and embarrassed while explaining the reason for my late arrival to school. It 's 4:33. Oh man.
