Introduction: In the bible, the promise land has been depicted as some sort of holy paradise. A sanctuary for the suffering and enslaved. A place of happiness and tranquility. The home to the heavy hearts and burdens.
For my diversified experience let’s take a journey to a Jehovah Kingdom Hall. Now, openly admitting, entering the Kingdom Hall my social perception as a Christian differ with a Jehovah witness, because of the adverse views people has of Jehovah witnesses. Individuals say that Jehovah witnesses are rude, inconsiderate, imbeciles, and I do not know why individuals reason or feel this way about Jehovah witnesses. To assume that Jehovah witness goes door to door teaching the gospel, showing an example of what Christians do, some might find it annoying, and those who do not may find it motivating. Nonetheless, my paper will give brief information to explain certain reasons for Jehovah witness’s actions and beliefs.

One of the most influential men on the planet hailed from the small city of Wadowice, Poland: St. John Paul II. Therefore, the Pharaoh is afraid to the Israelites. He thinks they are a threat to the nation. However, among the monumental events of this part of Israel’s history are: the birth, preservation, and preparation of Moses (Ex 2). The birth of Moses, his formation in the Egyptian court, his escape to Midian, the vocation and mission received by God (2,1-7,7), are a preparation to lead God’s people out of Egypt to the promise land. In addition, the call of Moses in the burning bush (Ex 3;4) is another remarkable event and beside these are the miracles performed by Moses and Aaron, following the orders of God to force the resistance of the Pharaoh to let the Hebrews go (Ex 7:8; 12:51).
Once they crossed the Red Sea, the power that God gave Moses to split the Red Sea in order for them to cross and arrive safely to the other side where Pharaoh would have been powerless over them. Led by Moses and Aaron they arrive in the Desert of Sin, after leaving Elm, where they camped near the water. The desert Sin was between Elm and Sinai, where they have remained in their current time. Although they were rescued by Moses from the misery that they experienced in Egypt, however, it can be concluded by their actions, in which they were ungrateful and showed complaint to their situation. They accused Moses for turning events around, in their opinion, they would have been more happier in Egypt, where they could consume varieties of food as they would please, in comparison to the dessert that they ended up.
In fact, the parable does not make sense unless it is an allegory. To start off, the fence and the tower are the temple and the wine-press is the altar. All three of these things point to the temple which makes perfect sense since the parable was given in the temple. Furthermore, God represents the owner who is abroad, which signifies God taking his presence away from Israel.
So they brought the ark of the LORD, and set it in its place in the midst of the tabernacle that David had erected for it. Then David offered burnt offerings and peace offerings before the LORD. It was David's desire to build a permanent structure for the house of God, but he was not allowed to do so. But God said to him you shall not build a house for My name, because you have been a man of war and have shed blood. However, he did design the house that his son Solomon
THE TABERNACLE The Israelites stayed at Mt. Sinai for more than a year. During this time, they were occupied chiefly in learning the many details of the law which they were to follow. One of the most important developments that took place was the building of the Tabernacle, the chief purpose of which was to represent God as dwelling in the midst of his people, and it is a type and shadow of Jesus Christ, who was to come.
In this field observation I attended a catholic mass of a friend’s church. I was born in a Christian family and never thought that I would ever attend a Sunday catholic mass. I only have one friend who still attends a church, a catholic church. I attended this mass with my friend Paul and his family who are Pilipino. Paul was nice enough to let come to his church to be an observer and a bit of a participant.
In this chapter, Jesus is revealed as walking among the seven lampstands (representing the church), holding the seven stars in His right hand (representing the angels of the seven churches), His eyes like flames of fire, out of His mouth went a sharp two-edged sword and His face like the sun shining in all its brilliance. He stands as the Judge of the whole
My thoughts about religion have changed over the years as it tends to do when you get older. I was indoctrinated into the Catholic Church when I was a child and stayed with the church until early adulthood. I then began reassessing organized religion and found that it was not what I was looking for. Today there is a religious movement that appears to be taking the world by storm and it’s called the prosperity gospel. People today want more wealth, love and better health and they want it now.
