Both Tagore and Nussbaum point of views seemed to differ on the topic education. Together they argued upon humanity and the righteousness of it. Likewise, Tagore’s main focuses were on children in general, should be taught outside of the classroom where they can have the opportunity to reconnect with mother nature. Versus Nussbaum’s concentration on citizens of democratic nations, like the United States and India, as a whole, their rights have been ignored and despite the state’s constitution written for the people, education has become more of a profit-making business rather than an individual’s goal.
