In United Kingdom and Ireland, The Avengers movie is classified under the name Marvel Avengers Assemble. This film was distributed by Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures. This film was produced by Marvel Studios. It is a 2012 American superhero film based on the Marvel Comics superhero team of the same name. The film was written and directed by Joss Whedon. In the film, Nick Fury, director of the peacekeeping organization of S.H.I.E.L.D., he recruits Iron Man, Captain America, the Hulk, Black Widow, Hawkeye and Thor to form a team that must stop Thor's brother Loki from subjugating and defeating Earth. The main purpose that we chose this topic is to identify the possible yet effective impact on audience’s behavior and their way of thinking on teamwork after watching the movie Avengers. We believe that by doing this research, we would able to get teenagers perspective on teamwork, whether they feel that it’s essential to implement teamwork to their life or they would like to be a lone ranger. Our group had questioned 30 teenagers who are our targeted audience that between the ages of 13 to 20 years old. The reason that we chose teenagers as our targeted audience is because the genre of the movie is a mixture of superhero theme, science fiction and action that blended together and that mixture is the most likeable factor for teenagers normally. The research method that we used in our assignment is questionnaire. We chose questionnaire because there is huge information can be gathered from a large number of people in a very short period of time. Not only that, when the information have been gathered, it can be used as a comparison to another research and may use it to measure the changes in the information as well. Finally, this is also a method where can analyze it objectively and scientifically than the other research methods. Studies shows that children becoming less trusting, aggressive and more accepts violence because of the exposure of movies, video games and television. This does not mean that the young children’s will starts to bring swords and weapons to the school but they will show aggressiveness and trust towards their friends, teachers and siblings will reduce gradually. The children even try to reenact same of the violent act that they have seen in the media. In the old times, the news about accidents and murders were published in simple sentences without exaggerating. But nowadays it is all changed upside down. To attract the attention of people news is published in an over the top manner and this questions the ethics of journalism. Media plays destructive role instead of being constructive. The people who reads these kind of news or see violence on television they tend to trust less and assumes the world is dangerous than it is. POSITIVE EFFECTS Media also gives positive effects on people and society. The world has becomes a global village because of the media. Within minutes we can get information around the world through internet and television. Not only had that media also educated the people to know what basic rights are. It has a huge influence that it can overturn the government. Through internet, radio and television people can learn any education programs. By watching these programs because children can develop their skills and understand
