One of the books I am currently reading is The Martian by Andy Weir. The book is about an astronaut who is accidentally left behind on Mars and how he is finally rescued. I originally found this book interesting, but after reading only a few pages of To Kill a Mockingbird by Harper Lee, it was difficult to go back to reading The Martian. I feel as though I discovered how much I enjoy good writing with TKAM. Andy Weir’s use of contrast and structure were easy to see and used efficiently in the book.
