Having the latest and greatest technology is constantly changing the way people function in their homes, schools and work place. Technology has become essential in schools to enhance learning, computers definitely increased on-line classes and administrators have encourage teacher to make effective and practical use of technology in classrooms.
Devices that are handheld for reading assessment, software are technology-based formative assessment tools and electronic response systems that effectively help teachers individualize teaching for all students. PARCC is aligned to the Common Core State Standards because it sets clear, consistent guidelines at each grade level be career ready from kindergarten through the twelve grade. The purpose is to help all students that have a desire to go college or work after high school be prepared for college and work.

Star testing is another Tecnology Based Assessment that are short tests providing learning data to teachers. It is a computer adaptive test that adjust to answers provided by each student in the shortest amount of testing time. The Star test can be personalize by the student teacher for growth tracking.

A third-party assessment is the Galileo which is being used from kindergarters through eight grades in reading, writing, math and science to evaluate effectiveness in teachers. The students are track at least three times a year for
