Have you ever wondered what an activist is or how to be one? Well one kind of activist is a teen activist they are kids ages 13-19.They are teen’s from all over the world. They are good role models because they are persistent, determined, and they fight for what they are passionate for. Here are just a few examples of teen activists and what they fight for. One reason they are good role models because they are persistent. Malala Yousafzai was persistent for girls education. She spoke out when her school got closed to girls. Then a few months later her school re-opened to girls. But a lot of other schools still didn’t accept girls into their schools so she kept speaking out about girls education. One day as she was coming home from school she was attacked by the taliban (a group of pakistani terrorists). She was shot in the side of the head. The bullet when in through the left side of her head and traveled down into her shoulder. She still kept fighting for girls rights to go to school. This shows that not only was she persistant she was also brave. This shows that teen activists are good role models because they are persistent. …show more content…

One person who fits this category is Malala. She is determined to still fight for girls education. Even after she was shot in the head she still fought for girls rights to go to school. This shows that Malala was very determined to fight for women's rights. Another activist who fits this topic is Alex Lin. He was determined to get his bill sighed to bane e-waste(a toxic chemical that seeps into the ground when burned) in Rhode Island. Even when his bill didn’t pass the first time he went back and re-wrote it and made it simpler. Then he went back and got the bill to pass.
