In today's society there are lots of social and cultural norms expecting people to behave in a certain way. Those expectations tend to determinate how one is supposed to act according to their age or gender, for example. Being put under so many pressure and expectations for their future, teens tend to experience lots of peer pressure in their life.
Tens are often expected to get good grades and do well in school. They are expected to be polite and work hard for their future.
